2. Acceptance of terms

By accessing this website or engaging our tuition services you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our services.

3. Services

We provide online (and limited in-person) A Level Mathematics tuition, including:

• One-to-one tuition sessions.
• Group tuition classes.
• Independent study work and resources.
• Access to our online student portal.

Tuition sessions are delivered by qualified and experienced tutors. Specific session times and tutor availability are subject to change.

4. Registration and accounts

To access certain features (e.g. the student portal, exam question bank), you must create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

5. Fees and payment

• Current fees are published on our Availability & Fees page.
• Payment is handled through TutorCruncher. Invoices are issued after each session.
• We do not require block bookings or long-term contracts.
• We reserve the right to change our fees. Any changes will be communicated in advance.

6. Cancellations

• Sessions cancelled with more than 24 hours' notice are generally not charged.
• Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged in full at the tutor's discretion.
• You may discontinue regular tuition at any time without penalty.

7. Student welfare and safeguarding

The welfare of our students is our highest priority. All tutors hold enhanced DBS checks. If we have concerns about a student's welfare, we may be obliged to share information with relevant authorities in accordance with our safeguarding duties.

8. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, images, videos and learning materials — is owned by The A Level Maths Tutor or used under licence. You may not reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit any content without our prior written consent.

9. Acceptable use

When using our website and services you agree not to:

• Share your account credentials with others.
• Record tuition sessions without explicit consent from all participants.
• Use our resources for any commercial purpose.
• Attempt to access systems or data that you are not authorised to access.

10. Limitation of liability

We provide tuition services to support your studies but cannot guarantee specific grades or outcomes. Academic results depend on many factors including the student's own effort, school teaching and prior attainment.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the fees paid for the specific sessions giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Privacy

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
